Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data NLO Brain (nlobrain.com) collects, why, and how long we keep it. The data controller is PE NIKOLAICHUK OLENA, a sole proprietorship registered in Ukraine.
1. What we collect
Account data: your email address and name if you provide one. Your content: notes, files and the connections between them. Technical data: sign-in times, browser type, interface actions — so we can find bugs. We never see payment details: card numbers are handled by Paddle and we only receive the payment status.
2. Why we collect it
To run the service: show your notes, search them, build connections. To send service email — confirmations, plan changes, important notices. To fix bugs and understand which features are needed.
3. AI and your notes
For semantic search and connection building we send fragments of text to language model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI). They process the request and do not use this data to train their models — that is how their business terms work. We do not sell or share your notes with anyone else.
4. Where it is stored
Data is held in Supabase (PostgreSQL) on servers in the European Union. Files sit in the same provider's object storage. Only the service processes that need access have it.
5. Processors we use
Paddle.com Market Limited — payments and invoices. Supabase — database and file storage. Anthropic and OpenAI — language model processing. Railway — application hosting. Each has its own privacy policy.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. After you delete your account, data is removed within 30 days and backups are overwritten within 90 days. Paddle keeps payment records for as long as tax law requires.
7. Cookies
We set only technical cookies: your sign-in session and language preference. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your rights
You can get a copy of your data, correct it, delete your account with everything in it, or withdraw consent to processing. Email [email protected] — we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
9. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to this policy
We will email you 14 days before any material change takes effect.
